 :iagree: Me too! Sometimes you do your best and there just isn't any more you can do so you have to accept what you've done! We are a lot harder on ourselves sometimes than we need to be but that helps us strive for perfection. The effort Rusty has made is incredible and inspiring. I Love this thread!  :grinyes:

Yea, sometimes the effort eclipses the results, well it looks natural, which I just learned is how most went in anyway, so my only correct for me car will have a "correct" piece in it! (I'm sure before I'm done there may be three or four more! :o) Time has been scacer than usual this spring, even my weekends are shot, but i do go out on the deck after dinner take 15 & stare at em,I may even skip englishtown again this year, might be the only free day(well not that free it's my anniversary too) I have to get some serious hours in!  :dontknow: Rich.

Well I can't say I got a lot done in the last month or so, but here's the front end with the hood hinges,headlight mounts & the hood latch brackets on, stuck one upper control arm in place too, missing a few pieces of hardware for the other & the front suspension in general, ordered the lower ball joints & got feelers out for the hardware!  ::)

Plum6Pak,
   I was thinking I was the only guy here that led the league in errors.  :laughing: :laughing: :laughing: Yep, it's amazing how many 1 and 2 hour jobs I can turn into an all day affair.  :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:  :stomp: :stomp: :stomp:

Thanks guys, it's always a challenge! ::)
Did locate some of those front end parts i needed ;D, ordered the strut rod bushing kit(hoping the sleeves come with it) & a set of engine blockoffs are on the way,so engine can be cleaned up & painted.
Got a lead on the rear shock mount, so maybe by the end of summer she'll be back as a roller, with a few more misc parts on, got my brake lines waiting, need to figger out what i'm doing with the fuel lines/return system??? then I can run some of the plumbing!
One piece at a time, someday it will be done!  :ack:Rich.

Keep up the good work Rusty. :wave: Like you guys I would  love to be able to do most things myself, but sometimes I realize  MY own limitations(family, tools, experience,space). But I am sure there are people like me who no one sees that are at the swap meet by 7am.On some Sunday mornings buying and trading parts before 7 am . Worked a 17 hour day yesterday to help offset the cost of the bodyshop.  So I think you guys can understand why some guys put there cars in a local shop.
