K, got the new plug on it, it's only 15 amp, it's rated at 11.7cfm at 90 lbs, about 13something at 70 lbs, I think the tanks a 50or 55 forgot to take notes, it's cold & dark out there now! :dupe:
My bro in law has an old horizontal out of his old carb rebuild shop, that was 30 amp(I wired it up for him)  :22yikes:   I don't have that kind of power in my garage only 40 going out there & have a 30 amp a/c-heater out there too, blow the 40 amp supply in my house once in a while when running too much stuff!
Getting cold here now, should be pulling the tarp off the "tent" soon before it snows & tarping up the cars!  :sadwavey: Rich.

I know how you feel Rich. I just had to drain some of the antifreeze in the blower car. Had to put in a gallon of antifreeze, but at least I got to run it for a little while.

That compressor is a good one if it's rated at 11.7 @ 90 psi., it should keep up with just about any shop tools and would sand blast if you let it catch up once in a while. The one I got all excited about is a real clunker, wasn't even an Ingersoll Rand like the guy told me.  :screwy:   It's a 1962 Saylor Beall, good brand if it was a bit newer! No telling how good the tank is inside, how long the valves will last etc. I passed on that one. Snow forcast for tonight here, I don't like the winter but it gives me something to look forward to!

Too bad, sometimes things don't pan out, You need a friend like mine, he buys all kinds a stuff, then changes his mind or doesn't like it, got my engine hoist free(well I loaned him my pick up to tow his charger to the dipper) he wanted a fold up model, the sears compress for 100( it was too noisy. A pressure sand blaster (was all clogged up at the bottom) I in turn gave it to my friend doing a duster, I had no place to really set it up!but I can use it if I need it!  :bigshades:
we help each other on the cars & exchange tools sometimes(so we both don't have to buy every special tool) Now this compressor, hmmm maybe he'll get tired of workin on the charger & give that to me!!!!!  Rich.

some ebay items, the ebrake was new & cheap, no sigh of wear or mounting, just a tiny bit of surface rust, the slapsticks were pretty rusty, but after cleaning & greesing they work fine, needed one for the 74, was snipped on about 10, so I bid on two in a row, well I got a spare now, may yet need it for the 73 haven't checked that one yet! the other stuff is oil pan bolts & the tranny dip tube!

Just repeating my message, pics make my work look better than it is most of the time, I'm not knocking myself(well sometimes I am) I've done stuff I never would have imagined a few years ago,I'm learning & keeping myself busy with something I like to do & thats the whole point for me, this car will be a ten footer, but it will be MY ten footer!
Now on to more experiments, testing some products I had laying around, again the pics make these look good, some are OK, the rest need work!

Question in here, is there a product out ther for refinishing rubber, I took the worst two, just cleaned & put some rubber treatment on one, the other I sanded out most of the defects, I will get the last few out if I get a good answer to the question(if not why bother?)
All the products I used above will just wash off I need a sealer? clearcoat? for the rubber!

Moving on to what is supposed to be chrome, one drivers mirror is driver quality but the pass side which is much harder to get is shot, probably go painted unless I sent out a bunch a stuff for rechrome, then maybe I'll throw em in? Rich.
Now this pic actually shows true condition!

What we going to call you when your Cuda is done? EX-RustyCuda? LOL,  :clapping:  You are doing some interestinig things Rich, I think you can buy some special paint for that rubber stuff. The sanding looks like the way to go if you can get the paint to stick. Is the car going back together now?
