Well kinda, I'm putting on little things, seems everywhere I try & work there is something missing or not ready, I'm pretty much stuck in the garage till it drops below 35* or so(not enough heat then)  then its kick back & be bored time! Heaters warming the place up as I type :naughty:
might try a shot a clear on the sanded bumper guard rubber, clean up the power steering pump & finish off that hose, if still some time, dig into another box, main things I need are the leaf springs to get it back to roller, a new windshield, carpet & something for a dash pad, looked at it the other day, it's really bad, don't know if a cover is gonna do it, things are a bit tight this year, so next chance to order will be spring if I have a decent heating season, if not then I'll put on what I can & keep putzin with the little stuff till i get some bucks! Rich.

Few more parts getting ready, power steering stuff came out ok, dash frame pretty lousy, but at least I only have to redo the parts that will show, the rest is fine for the dark receses it will live in! :naughty: Rich.

That's looking very nice RUSTY, you deserve a good old fashioned Chocolate Soda from the corner candy store for your efforts

Still putzin along, tried some semi gloss clear on the bumper guard I sanded, looks close to orig, the test will be if it sticks & holds up over time?
Now if i could learn to spray clear without drips I'm set!
second pic is on the base, one of the few good chrome pieces I have(off ebay, mine were BAD)

Yet another box rummaged through produced the inside metal trim, so I cleaned that up & tried some krylon semi flat on it, i'm not sure how much gloss it should have, the white is pretty flat, but also 30 yrs old?

Had a little surface rust on the back of the light bar, got that cleaned up & painted, surprisingly the front was ok, also stripped the glove box door & hinge!

Forgot to ask, is there a trick to getting that lock assembly off there, I didn't see anything obvious, I'll be licking my wounds while I await your answer!
Wire wheels DO remove paint on skin! (& a bit of the skin too! :swear: ouchy!

Nother Rusty Brain storm may not pan out, didn't want the plain ole black inserts, other colors don't do it for me, so I thought(yea I know I shouldn't) :banghead: the louvered look might be the right touch so I sanded off the leading edges & then shot semigloss clear, actually looks a tad better in person but not what i had brain farted!  :bricks1:
