Got some more misc junk painted up & did a little color test on the rear plate light mount, upper is bright alum & lower is alum blast, which do you think is better? Rich.

Yea, it's a shame i had to be born perfect ::) instead of rich, who needs good looks, charm, brilliance, etc, etc, etc. bla bla bla,  :angelwings: if I was born a multi milliomaire I could just buy all those things(technology is wonderful)  :naughty:
So I get the name Rich, well that & a buck will get me a cup a coffee!

Rich,
I'd say the bright alum. seems best for the reflectors since the light really kicks off of that one.  :bigshades: Those other pieces look great. Better than they ever did from the factory. but I'd be uncomfortable with a painted windage tray.  Some things are unpainted for a reason.

Today I needed help to set some a/c unit's but didn't have enough work for a full day, so when we got back to the shop to insulate some duck work to round out the day I made use of the extra set of hands to get the hood out of the way(& onto the car!) :naughty:
Anyway, back up hood seems to fit ok, didn't screw it up........too much....... reskinning it, a dip off in the right front corner & a wave in the curved section buy the drivers side cowl, even though I can't get the fenders & doors lined up, the hood is actually pretty close in the gaps all around!  :bigshades:
A small amount of putty up top, a lot of smoothing underneath & she'll be ready for some color!

Relocated, took me a while to find my old post! :clueless:

Been pretty busy with work & some other issues I'll post up an update in the general section, did go out & kill a few hours last weekend cleaning up the backing plates I got from plum(thanks again)
Still not feeling it yet, not a lotta free time either, but it helped pass the couple of hours I had. Rich.
