Started piecing it back together, doping out where what screws go, got most of that under control, the wiring thats a job for another day, spagetti!

OK, got the guage pod wired, it was actually mostly marked right on it, the rest is still a mess but till it's in the car thats done.
So I went out back & put another coat a paint on the exhaust & started to gather up the hardware to hang the rear, that wasn't easy, nothing was where I put it!
Anyhow about that time charger man passed by & offered to help, so it went pretty easy, well cept for the fact I had to retap all the BRAND NEW nuts for the new ubolts, threads were double lookin & not very deep, so 15 mins wasted & back to the task, put the wheels on, springs & front hangers on the ground, rolled it under & started the front mounts, jacked her up & put on the schakles, wa la , shes in....................

well not so fast, this is rusty workin, right???  all I had left to do was snug up all the bolts, C-man headed home & I proceded to tighten the bolts, all was goin well got everything but the pass front mount & the u bolts snugged, noticed 1 nut all the way on & the other 3 only half way & VERY tight on that front mount, I had no problem on the other side, so I figger I'll pull em & clean the threads, TOO LATE, one stud broke on the way out, luckily I have one of my orig brackets thats not rusted too bad, so I got that cleaned up & por15'd, drying as we speak.
ordered the 4 shocks, oil pan gasket,tranny pan gasket & filter heater box foam kit & a dash speaker, that stuff should be in soon!
Well I hope I can just drop that front corner to replace the bracket & not the whole thing
Still have to drill the trunk pans for shock access, hopefully that will go easy(Yea right) does anything?  I guess the rear is kinda in, just wish one thing would go smooth! Rich.

We wouldn't want to see you get spoiled now would we?    I hear ya Rich, I've been there many hundred times. We'd get all soft and be a bunch of Cheby or Fard guys if everything always went smooth. The term is called puss!es! LOL

  Better day today, charger man offered me a stud off his old brackets so i went that route instead of using my somewhat rusted spare, save that for a future emergency.
Managed to replace the bracket without pulling the whole rear, stud replaced & bracket reinstalled without incident Proceded to torque down all the rear end bolts, then helped charger man hang his steering column. cleaned up, took my son to the batting cages, well on the way home we pass the napa store, so i stopped to see if my parts were in, yes ! got the shocks & oil pan gasket, the funny thing is on the axel gaskets, last year I was lookin for both inner & outer(foam) they couldn't get the foam, well guess what shows up this time, the foam, he's trying another # for delivery tomorrow? Now I have the main ingredients to drop the engine back in, tranny gasket & filter were picked up the other day, gonna order my steering couple kit tonight.
hopefully tomorrow I will drill the access holes in the trunk pan for the rear shocks & get those mounted, maybe change out the fronts too now(90/10's in there) I bought stock heavy duty for both(rear had air shocks) .
Gas tank is now under the car & annoying me, I have to move it around alot, maybe it's time to take a good look at it & get it ready if I can reuse it???

Got the holes drilled, my holesaw was one size too big or one too small, opted for the small & used a burr to get it close, then 80 grit sanding roll to smooth it out a bit, not perfect but close, a little por15 on the raw metal & the plug has enough lip to hide most of the mess, 
put in the rear shocks & headed over to C-mans to help him get his charger off the work dolly & back on wheels.

like my clean wheels???  ::)10 yrs storage & 5 more out in my yard didn't help em any, thought I was done with rust keep finding more, those & i finally pulled out the fuel tank & emptied it(what do you do with 2 gals of old gas???) it's also got some on top under where the pad was.
looks like a job for a rainy weekend, well this should be the one,2 parties cancelled, if I don't get flooded out I can kill a few hundred wire wheels on that tank!

Got back to work on that tank, repair is lead & seems to be holding well, so I will try & save it, ground it down a bit to smooth it out,with paint it should look ok?

Bottom wasn't too bad, mostly undercoated, managed to evaporate away 2 quarts of that gas, used it to loosen up the undercoating! 
Thats pretty much ready for paint!
