Master cylinder is in, had to rebend those short lines quite a bit to make em fit, wonder if I got the right ones, the one with the nice little loop was pointing AWAY from the proportioning valve! :clueless:
Got some off the shelf plug wire holders & made do for now, can't seem to locate any factory ones? Rich.

almost have a full set of tail lights ready, I spent more time sanding out the scratches in the back than I did on the fronts! :bricks1:
Trying silicone to glue the rings on, think that will hold up?

It might(if I'm really lucky, yea right, still be there? ) :dunno: Rich.

Rich, you do some awesome work my friend. car is looking great! Few questions! What color gray is that that you painted the calipers etc? Also the front brake lines that go to the master, Inline tube didnt sell a kit for NON power brakes for 72-74 ebodys. So i bought the power brake ones. Is that what you did? I figure ill just have to bend the master cylinder lines down a bit to make them fit or cut them and re flare....
Manual brakes  have shorter lines then the power b/c of brake booster..get me?  :clueless:

I try & do it right, but I do a lot of "Joe homeowner" stuff if you know what I mean, the capilers & such are just bombed with 2 coats of minwax polyurathane semi gloss clear, all non contact rotors & drums I did in por15 semi gloss black, I have to coat everything being the car is outside!
On the lines I thought I ordered the right ones from year one, the longer one was just some tweakin, the short one in a loop I had to remove the loop & basicily reroute it was facing away from the proportioning valve its now has no loop but does reach & route ok, again, not "correct" ! Rich

Wow it's been a while, all I got done is a few plastic splash shields cleaned up in the last month or so, got my 9.99 ebay valve covers the other day, a little time to play today, so I started up both cars & let em run a while & then got to work on the valve cover cleanup, almost forgot the before shot!

Got the outside of the first done, back side is all rust, so I'm suckin rust dust again! >:(  but after a little straightining of the edges & a wee bit a paint they should look ok. Snows almost gone here so soon I can get back outside , panel alignment is high on the list so I can finish the hood & touch up my chips, maybe be done with paint this year  :dunno:  I'm hoping! Rich.

Finally got in a few hours on the car today, ran both cars for about 20 mins to get the fluids flowing, sanded on a few boby parts, still need a free sat to get some help to align the body panels so i can finish touch ups & paint. doesn't look good for a week of two.
So i messed with splicing in my new newtral safty switch & repair harness(old ones just would NOT stay on!  :swear: )
So I won't dare pull this one off the new switch, it's tight & it's staying on there.
messed with my old & replacement harness'(s) (how do ya make that plural :clueless: ) & found if I removed the a/c wires(which I dont need ) I can remove the harness, make the splice & install the switch(spinning the wires) & then just re plug the harness in, my old one had a plug half way up so I used that one.
Wow, thats a lotta wind for a little job, anyway now all i gotta do is crawl under there & maybe i can finally start the car from the key!  :naughty: Rich.
have no heat gun so I had to torch the shrink tube, barley enough heat  ;)  but got it done! :grinno: Rich.
