Charger man gave me some assistance over the last few weekends & we finally got the gaps on most panels close, still have a lot of issues, some I'll live with & others will get the grinders & putty knives going again, I'm thinkin it's gonna take a repaint from the doors foward :eek4:

Main problem is my workin off the car on the fenders, showed up the worst on the drivers side cause I had to extend the repro brace even higher & then brought a replacement door, so now I have two unknowns :pullinghair:
any way we kinda forced the front lines to match each other, but it's now gonna take a few feet of putty to blend that all in, now hopefully they will match each other, but not any other cuda out there!  :dunno:
Rear line seems ok, the front is a mess! :( Rich.

K, the dust suckin has begun, got a few rounds a putty & sandin done, a tad better, but looks like a repaint will be definite from the doors foward, gotta lay off the shell, already hit a couple a small sanding marks on the quarter! :banghead:

Wasn't so much the door gap, but the in & out between the door & the fender, and a bit at the line, ppg's gonna make some more bucks off me! :eek4: Rich.

K after the successful manuver under the tent, today I went back to getting this car ready for another attempt at paint, it's gonna take some time, but piece by piece i will sand out the clear & see if I hit prime before it's flat.
Tail panel was a flop, had one touch up & then noticed a small bubble in the clear, came off with my nail, not stickin to the black, so I started takin that back to prime.

Worked the top of the drivers quarter, I think I'm ok there, only hit paint in one tiny area?

Think I finally got the drivers door lined up,started to put in the moulding clips around the windows, ok with the new ones screws & new clips, but I have 14 of the old pins still in & only 10 of the slide on clips, gonna have to locate some of those!
BTW the door line should be ok, just didn't sand in the middle as much as on the ends yet(I'm hopin!)

The last item was gonna be left alone, but since I'm workin almost every panel I decided to fix it up a bit, when we welded in the patches the corner was a bit low, so out came the mud & hopefully it will be a little less noticeable!
Gonna try & get the new windshield ordered soon & get the front & rear glass in, after that I'll start savin up for the painting supplies, I think i'm gonna blow another grand on that stuff, shoot for a fall reshoot! :dunno: Rich.
