Keep your head up RUSTY, frustration will only slow you down.  As long as you keep chugging along it will all come together and look great!

Oh I aint givin up A1, just gettin old! the redo's & ME!
So this week was great, cool weather & a lot of time for the car, spent most of it sanding out the clear for the next coat & doing touch ups on the body work where needed. So when I finished up the putty work between the door & the fender I decided I better sharpen up the line before it dissappears in the next coats a paint!

Drivers side is close, gonna wait for a better trained eye to look at it before I finish it off(I hope). Moved over to the pass side & did a little putty work ,then shot a couple a coats a hi build.

the quarter looks pretty good to me, worked the fender some & did a real quicky on the door before dinner, might need a couple more coats but won't know till I sand some more, waitin for the sun to duck behind the trees before I go back out, it's hot out there! 8)

My little guy is quite bored with his broken foot, he asked to sand, I took a chance(have screwed this up myself too many times) & gave him a small block, had to reinstruct a few times, but he did ok!

You`re doing a great job, I`m sure of that you`ll be twice as happy when you`re done.
I`ll probably repaint my Fastback in the near future. Wish I had done as you are doing now, repaint it at once.
Besides, now you got a little helper too  :2thumbs:

He's my only car guy, I started way too late for the others, they were pretty much grown up & busy with college when I got the 73, the little guys into it, helped me take it apart, turned quite a few nuts & bolts, he told me fri nite after I had already set up an estimate for this mourning that he would have been my copilot for carlisle broken foot & all, but just too much walkin, my wife would not have approved & he's much too big & I'm too old to carry him!  :naughty: Rich.

Well finally got a break from work & shot some more primer on the pass side line this mourning, went out & sanded for a few more hours this evening, I'm gettin close, so hard to tell looks good from one angle, gives me doubt from another, any tricks to getting these lines nice & crispy? Rich.
