The Crazy Man might suit me better, but somehow I have managed to get a lot done out there, never easy but I'm a glutton for punishment! :screwy:
So today I decided to put the tail lights & rear center bumper filler on, well when I realized how bad the trunk got from all the sanding that had to be cleaned, which mushroomed into washing both heaps, amazing how nasty they get just sittin there! :puke:
So for now I'll say at least the tail lights are in,next post will splain why only those! :(

I guess my good luck with getting the 71 door to work with my 73 glass was an open invitation for my ole bud the Murph to come callin again, after a rather heated "discussion" I sent him packin!
Seems i must have gotten a 72 tail panel, no holes for the bumper filler, so I decide to try out my crappy painted emblem to see if I can get away with that for a while, well emblem has 3 pins & panel has 2 holes! :clueless: So I taped on my 'Cuda emblem for effect & called it a day! :faint:
Not that big a deal, drill a few holes, get a new emblem , just another thing to slow down the process! :banghead: Rich.

K, so I got all the bumper fillers painted & mounted up the rears, used the two ends off a set I bought, mine shrunk a lot, but my orig center, it was a tad longer that the other, go figgure?Moved the screw holes out about a half inch on the left end to line it up a little better.
So I go to let the car run a while & big spark from the pos term at the battery & then nothin from the key, play with the shifter, nothin, put it in neutral nothin, so I use the starter button at the starter relay & it fires right up, decide to give it one more shot later & it starts fine from the key, this car is gettin spooky :o
Gettin a little frustrated, lots of car time & nothin is getting done! :( Rich.

Started to convert the "tent" into the "booth", of course the 20 x40 tarp should have come right to the posts, stretched as far as I could(eyelets started to pull already) it's about 18'6" so it's gonna be harder to close up the ends now! :hyper:

One of the reasons for lack of cuda money is some major home repairs, started with 'Cuda's future home, moved the bay door over to clear my sheet metal benches, got rid of the walkin door that was on the left of it. next is a new roof & storm doors on the house & rebuilding my deck. then I can start saving up for the interior for "Cuda!  :faint: Rich.

Looks like a hack saw job in the future..........Of course 18'6" is a little tight end to end too.

I'm still amazed that you can do that much work outside.  Very impressive.  You must have great motivation!  Can't wait to see it done.

lately the motivation comes & goes, I was much more focused when I was doing the metal work, now it comes in spurts & vanishes when I hit a set back, around 6 years now.
Funds are starting to slow me down last year or so, business if off a bit & the house & property just ate a nice chunk a change!
I think once the paint is on (again)  ::) a lot of what I have can be done, lights grille, wiring & such while I save up for the interior. :dunno: Rich.

Rich, it definitely looks great.  I would paint the bumper body color for now.  That way you can fill it, too, if there are any imperfections.  Keep it up, you can do it.   :2thumbs:

Motivation? It may come and it may go but you definitely sent some of it my way, you've been motivating me throughout this entire 39 page thread. Thanks for the inspiration.
