determination and failure go hand in hand. As hard as it might be, go ahead and laugh at the past, For tomorrow will  :laughing:reap the fortunes of the past

Well I wanted to learn & this thing is takin me to school big time! :o  I think I made a reality based decision last night after lookin over the work, I have defects on almost every part, so the revised plan is to get paint & a coat or 2 a clear on everything, start putting her back together then when it's driveable I will decide if the defects get addressed or I just drive the wheels of her!  ;D or both! ;) Rich.

  Sounds like a good plan to me Rusty, we all have to learn the hard way sometimes, we all have to learn from our mistakes too, if not, we would just keep making them over and over again. Hmm, guess I fall into that latter category. Sure have made a lot of mistakes over again, not on the car so much but in other things, better practice what I preach huh?
The car is gonna look great all put back together, anxious to see the outcome!

I did body work for a living for 8 years and learned a lot doing my `72 from the ground up but I`m still learning and getting better at it.I look at my `72 now and know I could have done some things better but I don`t worry about it and just drive the he!! out of it `cuz I didn`t biuld no trailer queen!I have my `70 road runner to do next and will take everything learned and do a nicer resto but I although it will be more stock for shows it will still be a driver.I`m sure your `cuda will look great and as the owner you are more picky and notice things most people won`t.

Had to take that fender back down to prime, reprimed that & the trunk lid, they are ready to be blocked(or reblocked) as the case may be. still warm enough for me to heat the garage a little so till the weather changes I'll keep shootin the little pieces in there!  ;) Rich.

Well I got the reblocking done on that fender, shot that ,the rear valence & the trunk lid, more drips than the first time, but done till reassembly begins, dug out another pile of small parts to do in the shop, I will be busy in there this winter!

Bought some tarps the other day, soon it will be time to close up the outdoor "shop" . :'(
I hung the drivers side fender to store for winter & It looks like I won't have to paint the bay again, the colors (omni compared to PPG) are close enough I can live with it! thats a load off, was not lookin foward to doing that area over!  ;D Rich.
