When snow comes let it rest for the winter. And when springtime comes you`ll probably be more satiesfied with your work.
I know how it feels, seems as an endless problem.
Keep up the great work. :2thumbs:

I got my 10 footer, still some spots not shinning up might hafta go back a stage or two on the buffing, all the scratches & defects I'll live with for now!
I opened the side windows cause I was too wiped out to clean em for the pics! :faint:    The 74 will definatly need 15" rallies, the 14's with the smaller tires just don't cut it! ;) Rich.

Well here's 2 RUSTY!

BB, your killin me, like hearing it run last year before the snow flew!
If I'd get off my paperwork butt & get movin on the plates, all I really need is lights & bumpers & i could drive it, it has one seat in it , the important one, drivers!
I have a few house projects to finish up, will take a few weeks at least, but a little time will be for b'cuda, there's no rush now, I just needed it back on it's wheels & moveable for one of those projects!  ;)

Thanks for all the help folks, even if it was just a pat on the back, it meant a lot & helped keep me going thru the "down" times, she's far from perfect, but she's all mine!  :2thumbs: The Rusty one,Rich.

I could act like a trailer queen & set up the barriers 10' away & everyone would say I'm full of it, if I make carlisle you folks will see(well if I don't go crazy & try & touch it all up)
I guess as my friend keeps saying, first car, first paint job, it's not that bad. The closer you get the more defcts show up, but she's a driver so I'm sure that first door nick won't hurt as much, just blend in with my other boo boo's!  :naughty: Rich.

Messed with some little stuff today, got the rubbers on the front of the hood & the cowl, what a pain putting those pinch clips on the cowl piece :swear:
Put the front & rear splash shields on the fender, should have done it last week when the wheels were off! :dupe:
Got my plymouth emblem in the mail, so I tried a test fit on that & my 360 emblems, drivers side 360 is a tad short for the holes, after the hood is finilized(still got some sanding & buffing to do) I'll try pulling it down with the nuts that should cause some more :pullinghair:
not a lot of time, still playing Mr mom & haven't even gotton back to the house projects! :faint:

  Bet you are glad to finally be at this stage. We've watched you work your arse off on this for a long time now and I can say it sure is nice to see it looking like this. Can't wait to hear about the first drive around the block. Got stuff coming to you soon, hopefully you will have it in hand by next Monday.  :2thumbs:

Looks great from here!  :smilielol: I`m sure it looks fine and don`t worry yourself over little imperfections as I got over that years ago with mine.My paint is almost ten years old and theres too many chips and scratches to count but it still shines going down the road so it`s good enough till I get the time and money for a repaint.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Got a few hours in this afternoon, nice day here bout 60* put in the new battery & a couple of wire holders around that area, color clashes a bit, maybe a black one & use this in the 74 later on?
Put the musical chair battery back in the 74 & let that turd run a while.
Back to sanding & buffing, did the pass fender from the body line up & over the top, got a lot of scratches & peel out, but damn, there is still a bunch, didn't hit paint yet but gotta be gettin close somewhere   :eek4: Might be the last of the wet sanding for this year, it will be gettin cold soon, plenty to tinker with , wiring, lights & such. Rich.

K, got a little cuda time in, put in the new window down stop bumpers & started changing out the light bulbs, how the heck can just about every bulb in a car be burnt out???
Anyway, I got head lights but no running lights, turn signals work as do reverse lights, gotta figure which wire to hook up to the break pedal switch to check those, rear liscence bulb came apart trying to get it out, may need a new socket, soaking in wd40 as I type(could that affect the running lights?) also no dash lights at all, all bulbs were changed during rebuild!
Got the valence insert painted , lookin at the old, looks just like plastic that was never painted, but the new is argent-like now??????????  Rich.
