I was thinking flip the jack handle 180* and stick the socket head pointing upward. I will take a picture of mine.

Messed with a few little things the last few afternoons, got my saging exhaust tip back in place, I may have to figure out a new hanger on the drivers side, they just put a sheet metal bolt into the rail & it really doesn't hold that tight, (home made exhaust  by the previous owner) so I have no stock hangers to work with.
got that hook back on the vent in the heater box, what a pain that was & got the poping hood fixed, (Chryco, thanks I read your post!)
Gonna work on cutting in my rear speaker hole & gluing the insulation to the trunk divider tomorrow, try & get as much of the interior ready so i can move on it after the headliner is in!
Startin to get a little figgity here, after almost 10 years this baby may hit the road this summer! :burnout: Rich.

Messed with more "details" again today, got that hanger fixed, put in a nut & bolt with lock washer(fun gettin the bolt into the rail & out the hole) then I drilled a corner of the bracket & put in a sheet metal screw to keep it from turning, set the tip a little hi, hoping it will settle into place??
Got the front splash shields on & put in the new door switch, dome works, no key buzzer, I may have not put that in yet, if I remember it's on the far side of the dash by the glove box?
My super deal on wheels & tires is almost done, my friends car is in for his new tires & wheels, once the cragers are off(with good tires too) there mine, 100 bucks, probably the best deal(cept for those who helped me) in this whole project, the money for new tires would have set me back another few months!
Still tryin to set up the headliner for this sat, if not week after mothers day will be the soonest I can try & that would be if he's available, I hope it gets done this week!
Cleaned up in the wheel wells up front a bit, everything needs to be repainted, guess spray bombs wont cut it(car is outside all the time & will be for the forseeable future) any ideas on paint for these parts, even my brand new tie rods are starting to rust I HATE RUST :swear:
Anyway things are slowly comming together I may get to drive it this season! :crazy: Rich;

Looking great.  :2thumbs:

But alot of your pics are gone from the past. I converted alot of mine using Imageshack. I like Imageshack better than Photobucket because you don't have any delay or extra click on pic to see it bigger.

Perhaps time to overhaul your resto thread? You've come a long way and it's great to see it from beginning to present.  :2cents:

Seems they clean house everymonth or so. I put some back in & later they were gone again.
The grand poobah at nuts gave me a sticky, was a year or so after I started but most of the pics are there & more of my mishaps, so if your really bored go here http://www.moparnuts.com/forums/showthread.php?399-Rusty-s-not-very-quiet-cuda-progress
to check it out! Rich
Tomorrow i'll clean up the rears & get those on, been playing with the radio, an original am/fm given me by a friend & the aftermarket that came with the car, no luck with either, so for now only the V8 tunes will play!

Cragers are on, painted a decent set of blue visors to black, they look pretty good, doudt the spray bomb stuff will hold up but blacks should be easy enough to get in the future, sprayed the car down pretty good still gettin water in the drivers side vent, pass door window a little, didn't see any by the brake booter(previous leak) & the pass side where the big leaks were looks dry(thanks greg!)
well I got some work to do on my glass looks pretty ratty cept for the new windshield, another job to add to the list. here she is out in the sun again!

Thank you, as long as you view it at a distance, but for my first paint job(well actually that is the 3rd cause I took it down twice) she will have to do , if everything inside comes out nice & it doesn't give me fits mechanicly I'll drive it for a few years, get workin on the 74, if I have trouble with the B5blue I'll have em both painted by a pro, I'm still gonna try the blue car, can't be as much trouble as this metallic red was.
Headliner guy can't come sat, so now it's the week after mothers day. So interior gets put off again, will continue to putz with the little things, I may even get it registered, I do have the drivers seat in!  :burnout: gettin antzy! Rich.

Put in a few more pieces, somehow I messed up the rear deck, was rear careful to center it before I cut the speaker hole but I have a gap between it & the corner panel on the pass side, not a lot of overhang on the other side, for now I used the piece I cut out for the speaker to norrow down the gap, guess if I glue it together & a dab of black paint it will pass  :nono:
