Just applied to hagerty, will know in a couple of days if they will accept "car port" storage, hope so, garage would be a pain for me, my work shop (for my A//C business) is in there.
If that goes through I'll send in for the registration, then it's officially On the road!  :woo:

Got the pass seat put together & in, the pass door panel is on, made my "fix up" for the rear deck piece.
Ordered more door panel clips(2 cars & I could only come up with 4) :pullinghair:
Now I need the hardware & benzels that hook the mirror control to the door panel, they grew legs & walked on me, I know right after I buy em they will magically be found, but I need a set for the other car too! Any contacts guys? Rich.
Here's the pass side!

Mirror bezel is ordered, almost didn't cause the turd charged 10 bucks shipping  >:( but it also had the retainer, so I figger I paid 7 or 8 bucks for that!  :-[
Got my good ole manual squirters in today & they actually work, got the inside hood release hooked up & removed the one under the grill, worked on cleaning up the old glass, lots of chips & scratches but there clean now!
Still waitin on hagerty to see if the car port storage will fly?
got gomo's upper seat belts cleaned up,thanks mann, material is great,no fade or wear, my chrome is slightly better but belts are faded bad, so I'll do my best with the chrome & get those hung this week, she's about ready to roll out, I'm almost lookin foward to this!  :22yikes: Rich.

Put in a few more pieces, somehow I messed up the rear deck, was rear careful to center it before I cut the speaker hole but I have a gap between it & the corner panel on the pass side, not a lot of overhang on the other side, for now I used the piece I cut out for the speaker to norrow down the gap, guess if I glue it together & a dab of black paint it will pass  :nono:
Just thinkin that the plastic panel looks like its pulled down & maybe over to the left to much...
I think there was as a bit of padding that extended beyond the package tray that went under the panel that would keep it up higher & possibly more to the right...

Keep up the good work buddy

Good news, rear speaker came today!
Bad news, hagerty or grundy won't cover me(the garage problem) gonna try a few more places, it's not a million dollar car someone has to insure these cars without the garaged clause!  :'( Rich.

I dig the color coded accent line on the door panels   :ylsuper:\
By gomo do you mean Paul? I have not talked to him in ages, how is he doing? Last time I talked to him he was getting into gunsmithing in a big way and was pretty much ignoring his Challenger. Looking great Rich, hope you get it insured and on the road soon man.

Rather successful day for a change
Messed with the seats & got em where I can live with it, loosened up both upper & lower covers, padded drivers side of upper & both sides of lower, had hog link chains on but was affraid they would tear up the covers, so I went to my old stand by, thermostat wire! still a small gap o the drivers side but I can live with it!

Got the drivers door pannel on after a few on & offs! mirror cable was hanging up had to add a clamp to the outer door structure, BTW aftermarket panel clips suck!
Ended up using an old set of inner wiskers, my car had 4 of em, both inner & outer all the same, don't ask me how but thats what was on there, 2 of em were still decent so they are onmy panels  now. Gonna send back the aftermarket crap with instructions on how to make em right! :naughty:
Now I just need the upper panel clips, which I probably have somewhere buy I forgot what they look like!  Anybody got a pic of them ?

Put the old window fuzzy on the pass side where the crap aftermarkek one popped off(even with some silicone adhesive) need the clips there too, but they seem to be on pretty good, guess time will tell, so for the most part the interior is complete, few details to work on but driveable fer sure!   Rich
Now I gotta get some time to continue the insurance quest!   :faint:

K, the appraiser is comming next sat am, so by the time I get the report, switch over the insurance & send away for my QQ plates, well I might be drivin by mid july!

well at least I'll know a realistic value of the money pit, the paint job worries me the most, how much it will loose because of the amature job, well now I just have to wait it out & hope I get a decent value put on the car for the insurance?  Rich.

My first look at your car. Very, very nice!  What size are your tires?? The Crager wheels are just classic on Cuda's.
