So with that done I figgered why not put the heater box in, that went well & my epoxy fix on the upper clamp seems to have held up, guess time will tell on that one.
It also added another touch of color to the eng bay!  ;) Rich.

This old bear can't afford to hybernate, not enough years left to finish 3 cars!
I'll work as long as I have a few bucks for parts, gonna order the fuel lines soon, then get it off the jack stands, I'll work outside down to about 45 or so, inside with my little heaters till 35 or so, work is slowing down again, so if I get a few more weeks of mild weather I should get something done! Rich.

Wait no longer! ;)
No where near what i planned, thought the day was mine, even got up early, decided to get the mini starter & some fluids in stock so as soon as I seal everything up I can get the oil & tranny fluid in. well no starter in stock, tues! but I got the fluids, some fuel line hose, a filter & a box a clamps, got home & had to do a no heat call. :(
By the time I get to the car its 11am.  chased a bunch a threads & put a few goodies on the front of the eng, got stuff spred all over my bench, more crap outside & my 3pm walk through with a customer is rapidly approaching! ::)
so do a partial cleanup & head out, well that takes longer than expected, get home & race to tighten the fan bolts again(power steering pump has to go on first! :clueless: )anyway my steak is gettin cold, can't have that so I go wash up & wolf it down, buy the time I get back out it's gettin friggen dark already, finish up the driveshaft , shoot a pic or two & tarp her up for the night!

This is a real action adventure! It's amazing what we go through to be able to get this work done. We had a garage sale over the past couple of weekends, you should have smelled the garage Sat morning right after I sprayed the epoxy primer, could have knocked you out! Too cold to have the sale outside. Didn't get a lot of business that day. I may find a customer under the garage sale items in a few days if they start to stink but I believe everyone made it out alive.   :22yikes:

I love the smell of paint, but they say this new stuff will kill ya quick! Mask up & run when it's done!  Rich.

Murphy must be on holiday! the rain held off & I got some stuff done. I should have put the tank end of these on BEFORE the tank went in what a PAIN!

Now there's a few questions in here on the tranny linkage, up top I'm good I think, just not sure on the front spring, it looks to be angled ? trans seems to shift ok( well the friggen lever moves!):stomp:

Oh yea I did check the other car, there's no spring in it at all????
Lower looks ok, but up front I think I'm missing something, got 4 bolts left over, were in the "linkage" bag, we had used these to hole the tranny to the eng, but I got new because I thought they were needed on the linkage?

Those bolts fit the 4 larger holes for the inspection cover, but the car didn't have one :clueless:
So on to the next question, these two tapped ears up front, what goes here, cooler line bracket? kickdown linkage? of which I can't seem to locate either :(
any ideas?

was gonna put on the right side header, but that 's gonna be a battle(another thing I should have laid in BEFORE the eng went in(live & learn!) :dupe:
So I ended up stringing out some wires to end the session, front to rear I got in the light harness & the speaker harness(another question here) does the seat belt harness originate by the E-brake & come out between the fold over flaps by the seats? then I got the front light harness in. Not a bad day, considering I though it would be rained out! :naughty: Rich.
