I'm hangin in, works still off quite a bit , got one big project that should carry me a while & then hopefully a decent airconditioning season this year.
moneys spent now, parts are mostly here so all I have to do now is get em in, still need a few odds & ends but they can wait.
Nuts just got a major facelift, still gettin used to that, otherwise about the same.
My work benches are covered with interior parts, instead of a/c duct work, now I need bout 2 weeks to sort clean & get ready or I have to put it all away again so I can work(at makin a livin) catch 22 there but I've done that a few times over the years! :bricks1:
Have a good year,Rich.

Yesterday I seam sealed my welds inside, those two major corners in the trunk &put on the new trunk seal, wasted my money, lid was still pushed up, got one side pretty good other side is still up a bit, may be my bodywork, done with adjustments & removing rear rubber bumpers, so unless it settles on it's own it is what it is! :eek4:
Today I put in the insulation (eastwoods version of dynomat) a little tricky to work the shapes in & their roller pops off the handle with a little too much pressure(actually not enough for my taste) but a little tweeking on the arms & I made it work. Put the heater box ,insulation pad & splash shield back in & let her run for 20 mins. laid in the new trunk mat , shot some black paint on the seat belt retainers & cleaned up my mess, not a bad day!  ;) Rich.

Carpet & headliner insulation came today(thanks for the great service dave!) now I have to get the pass side floor insulated, lay in the carpet & then I can call the headliner guy! Gettin close! :bigshades:
Now on the headliner insulation, do I glue that to the roof or does it just lay over the liner? Thanks ,Rich.

In your case you should use spray adhesive and glue it to the top...........I think..............

Pass side is a little lumpy around the hump up front, but that rear corner is better than the other side, don't know how much will show after all the trim panels are in, hopefully good to go! ;) Rich.

Lay some heavy stuff on the lumps & let sit, most of my lumps cleared up.

K one step foward & 2 back, went out to test fit all the interior trim & get ready for the headliner, opened up the car to find the roof insulation fell off, guess I didn't use enough glue?
Anyway all hardware mounted up ok so I moved into the trunk, installed the rear jack bracket(forgot to do it before paint so it is just screwed in, the jack spring is messing with my mind, I seem to rember the tire iron going through the spring & then when you tension the jack everything holds tight, well the way the new spring is bent if I put it on the iron I cant catch the jack, so I looped it through the welded on "hook" in the trunk, I guess I can lay the tire iron under the spare. pics to follow.
So then I do my start up & charge the battery routine & decide to check the lights cause I pulled the rears to install the jack brace, well the rears work fine, but now I have no headlights & left front marker is out too, parking lights & signals all work???????????
So heres the trunk, whats wrong with my set up. thanks ,Rich.

Headlamp power runs through the foot dimmer...check the connection there.

Does the jack handle run through the spring loop and the bend rests against the notched out box? I thought it did that and the jack tensions against it.

Thats what I thought, looking at the other pics in the trunk post it looked like the spring hooked under the handle, I bent the spring & got that to work but it still looks wrong to me.
Justsaw a pic in the new guy with the art trade cuda & his looks like I had it before hooked on the part that goes into the bumper, now I'm really confused. :pullinghair: Rich.

* thanks bullit*, the dimmer switch was hanging up on the rubber carpet insert, so I have headlights, the marker I just cleaned the terminals!

oopsie, gotta clean up those wires! :-[ Rich.
