If you dont want to mess with the original look, get a factory FM radio and get an fm modulated cd changer. It uses a specific fm signal to access the cd changer that you put somewhere unseen like under a seat or in the trunk. Not a perfect solution but it will get you tunes without changing the originality.

I guess thats true. Funny how our "technology" keeps making our music sound worse and worse. Cd or better yet DVD is really the best media besides old school vinyl to get all the music out of a recording. By the time you clip the top and bottom off the track and cram it into an MP3 the music loses a lot in translation.

Here's an Idea if anyone is serious..Use a Marine radio with a full function wired remote.  With this you could literally have the head unit anywhere... Below is an example but there are dozens of choices on the market.

One wire (usually red) will hook into the acessories circuit. There will probably also be one that goes to a full time live as well if it is a modern unit.
A black wire will be a ground wire to connect to chassis.
The rest will be speaker wires. But you need to make sure each speaker is wired correctly "in phase" so you need to know which is +ve and -ve for each speaker and wire then the same way.

There might be a wire for a power antenna as well. If it has a radio built in.

See if you can find an installation manual download for it on the internet.

Problem is where to put it without hacking up the dash. 67s are not made for today's players....also doubt that the car came with speakers for a stereo
