They rotate like that for shipping.
Or when you wash a new Challenger, you can turn them downward to drain the water out!  :clapping:

Yup, since I am not driving the car until spring, I rotated one for that precious 2" of extra clearance between the two Challengers in my garage!

She called the dealer today to find the status of her 10 Chall & was told it was in Calgary at the train Yard so we drove down to have a look & it was right up against the fence in a lot where probably 1500+ cars are sitting !!
Not much to look at yet but it will evolve , it is a R/T Hemi 6 spd

Lucky her!!

Doesn't look like you guys have much snow there compared to here...lucky you !!

I was driving down my driveway one night a few months ago, and it gets a bit tight between my house on one side of the driveway and a hedge on the other.  Well I hear a "thunk" on my passenger side and realize I clipped the damn garbage can I have next to the house with the mirror.  I feel my spirit drop, car is two months old and I probably just put a scuff on that mirror housing!  I get out of the car and see the mirror got rotated up by the force.  I rotate it back, and look at it best I can in the dark, can't see any damage.  Later back in the garage with the lights on I check it out close, not a scuff or scratch!  My other daily drivers have always ended up with some scuffs from the hedge or garbage cans eventually.  Maybe the rotation of the mirror takes the force before the paint can get damaged?
At any rate, I am going to move those darn cans to another location this spring. Every year I try to trim that hedge back but it just keeps growing back! :banghead:

After almost six months of waiting for her, yesterday the dealership called and I got to go and pick up the new challenger and bring her home.   The snow is melting  in Calgary so it was a wet sloppy day and my new baby was no longer white when I got her home and six blocks away from the dealership she experienced her first traffic jam LOL.

Took her out for a highway drive and she handles beautifully.  Neil put on a shift over ride eliminator and swapped out the Challenger block letter logo on the grill for an older one in the challenger script.   We've ordered hood pins and a 1971 gull wing spoiler to put on her.  This week we'll get springs to lower the front end down.  We are looking for stripes - TA style that go all the way to the back and will paint the hood flat black....lots of things to accomplish before spring.

Its been 25 years since I owned a mopar and I'm thrilled to have one again.   LOL I learned to drive on a 69 roadrunner

Pics to follow!!!
