There was a post on here about painting the hood black and someone photo shopped it 2 ways one with just the hood and the other with the hood and continued over the header panel to the headlights. Can't remember the post name but have a look for it or someone post the link? I like the look of it painted all the way(over the header panel) to the headlights best? :2cents: Looks more retro?

It was a tough decision as I originally just wanted to paint the hood the flat black but after a while I decided I would also paint the front header panel as well.  You're right - it does look more like the originals but I like the continuity of the paint coming right down over the front.

Modification #9 - My nose hood badge with the Challenger script came in the mail today from Billet tech.   I never did care for the ram's head and was glad that there were alternatives available.  I'm still looking for Challenger script floor mats, may have to get them custom embroidered as can't seem to find anyone who has them.

Tomorrow she goes to the paint shop for the hood and header panel will get painted.  The pin stripes came in the mail today and I'm looking forward to seeing them on as well.

That hood badge is awesome and it seems as that should have been the obvious choice on the car...why wouldn't they have thought of that

Car looks great MOPARGIRL!!

thanks guys!  I am thrilled with the way the hood and nose piece turned out and also how fantastic the louvers look.  - thanks to Neil for putting in so many hours to make it turn out so great!

We've decided not to enter world of wheels this year afterall.

Next step is getting the door handles painted black - no rush now that WOW is not hanging over our heads.
