'Cuda Dual Scoop Hood
« on: January 04, 2010 - 07:17:32 PM »
Hi,

I've been looking around with no luck. Is anyone reproducing the dual scoop hood used on the E-body 'Cudas? I'm looking for one for a 1971. Would consider a good used one if it's near Massachussetts.

Thank you,
Paul

If Doug's doesn't work out for you, Goodmark makes them.

I would surely buy a factory one instead of aftermarket if I could. Man I am sweating bullets that my Goodmark Challenger hood fits right. We never even test fit it.

Hi guys,

I appreciate the replies. I agree about trying to stay with an original one. BTW, the Goodmark site listed the hood as 'out of stock.'

Doug ~ I'll be sending you a PM.

Thanks,
Paul

bb71challenger, we put the aftermarket bulge hood on our challenger and it fit great!  Don't sweat too much unless you received a lemon.

The cuda bulge hoods are still under development.
