back window clip

Am installing my back window am putting the moldding clip in does any no if the two center clip have to be screw in  , all of the other one have a little pin that holds it in place .this is  for my 73 challenger
1941 Dodge truck 340cu
1935 ford 3window coupe 327cu
1965 Acadian Beaumont Convertible 283cu
1973 Challenger 318cu

all mine had pins, but i cant say its the only way.
are you missing the clips?

Yeo the kit came whit 20 clips an in the middle it look like there goes a clip there is a hole on each side so am asuming there must be a clip

your saying there is a hole on each side of the center where a clip should be?.
then i would screw the clip on. if the pin is gone, and you have a hole thats all i can come up with, can you get a pic?
would make it soooo much easier to actually see.

you can see the hole there is one on each side same place

I posted this earlier but didn't go through I guess :clueless: My '73 had two clips screwed on about 1/2 to 2/3 the way up the side near where the roof and 1/4 panel meet. I had assumed a previous owner did that to replace broken pins, but maybe not.

this what i found out look like the back has 2 clip that are srew in the front also has 2 that are srew in the clip are not the same as the other one if you look at the pic yousee the lower part of the one that srew and the other one goes on the pin.

Some were put on by screws for sure.  Sometimes the studs came out and it was easier to fix with a screw. Use screws that are short headed on those  :2cents:  Seen this done many of times
