    just finished to fight with my blackout but I'm not 100% satisfied of the final outcome.  There's still too much bubbles for my taste...   There is probably something that I did wrong during the process   :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
     
    I'm seriously thinking to remove it and try with a flat back paint.   Any suggestion going with paint ?

    If you have a lot of them go ahead and pin prick each one once. Then get it in some heat and nature take its course.
    You will be suprised, they will come out with time.

    I originally put the repro hood decal from Phoenix on my car, but after 2 years wasn't happy with it and had the body shop pull the decal and paint it on. It looks much better. I think the factory hood blackouts were painted too, weren't they?

    Great pics you posted there!  This decal is the hardest one to get right because of the size.

    BTW -- my wife's never complained about the size of my equipment   :woohoo:   It's just too small for this decal   :roflsmiley:

    I've used Rustoleum Satin Black with excellent results.  Sprays really nice and has the right amount of sheen.
