Lots of guys sell decals, but one of the Best places to get them is right here on cc.com with our very own  challengergary!

Gary's decal sets come with some great installation instructions which I will be happy to post subject to Gary's approval.  If you need them right away, feel free to ask Gary directly.

69 Camaro RS

ps: Be sure to avoid getting wax on or near the decal edge when applying wax to  your paint.

ps: I have seen cars where the guys have painsakingly bc/cc painted their stripes and they look awesome as well.

I'm doing mine when the weather breaks......way too cold now......Mine came from Year One also.   I tried Gary but his equipment wasn't large enough for this one decal.

Hope that's not a personal problem for Gary!  Okay, just kidding around-- must have too much time on my hands.

ps: Stripe Instruction Videos were very helpful

Well we put it on today and it was kind of fun. I asked Scott to help install it and in reality he was going to do it so I could draw on it and take pictures.
I put him in a bad spot putting the decal on the bosses car ,getting in the way and taking pictures to show if we screwed up! ;D
He did real well and probably better than I could have done.
The last shot is when the camera battery croaked, I'll put the moldings on and clean it for final shots tomorrow.

Great job.  A question..........was there a split in the paper where you started the back?

No the backing was a clear stiff plastic, we cut it just before laying down the rear portion.

Thanks Dave,

really a great home made "How-to"...   I have my hood still on the paint boot, so I hope to post my result next week.

My 2 cents to remove the small air bubble: try to carefully pierce it with a needle. It should be disappearing.

Be sure to leave enough cure time on the paint before applying the decal. Look forward to you install. :2thumbs:

Here is the hood as far as I got today. Since the hood Hemi emblems are very fragile I think I may look for something diffrent as I broke one taking it off. :banghead:
No help here today to install it but I did get some cleaning and assembly done.
