Wish me luck, - please..;-)
« on: January 05, 2010 - 12:42:55 PM »
-
To morrow morning I'm gonna leave the island to drive 250 miles with an empty trailer, - and then 250 miles back with my newly arrived , from the US, 1957 DeSoto on the trailer...

We got half the country closed by snow, well below freezing, still snowing, and the wind is promissed to be going faster...   :bricks1:

But I just can't wait to see / get home -  the DeSota for real....    :cooldancing:

Is it possible to put your trip off for a couple of days?  Half the country is frozen and closed, it is still snowing and you have 500 miles in snow and wind.   If you do go, take some sand bags with you, plenty of extra food, water, artificial heat source, extra coats gloves , radio, flashlight, chain come along, matches, tools, blankets......you get me?  try to prepare yourself for the worst and hope for the best. Or just wait till you are sure that all roads are passible. Please be careful

Yes, I'll be carefull, - I'm almost all the way on highway, and they use a lot of efford to keep them free of snow - no worries..

Good luck with your journey to pick up your newest gem and as mentioned, take it easy with the trailer and everything should be okay.
