You guys that take a car that far down and rebuild them have my respect.  Just the hours I put in to strip and repaint my car were amazing--let alone this much body work.    :faint:   It will be fun following along with this build.   Is it gonna be done by spring.    :lol2:

Very impressive.  Lots of fun to watch the resto thread.  Where is it?

Just to let everyone know there is no resto thread. I only have a few pics. I have neither the time, energy or talent to do this kind of work so I'm having it done. They've been taking pics as they go along which I'll get at the end. Sorry to disappoint everyone.

Basically the front of the car will still be the same parts as it had going in, but the door skins, rear quarters and trunk pan will be replaced.

I done a 69 camaro 6 years ago for a friend of mine that look just like that when a guy gave him the car with title to move it out the yard..i got it all together and painted it,just the body and the guy just sold it...i was so mad..i done all that work for nothing not 1 cent, and never got to see it finished.the good thing was i learned alot about doing old cars...so that now i know what i am getting into...alot work, but its so great when you sit in it and say...i built this..nothing better...so keep up the good work..

It will be the same color it's always been. By the way this picture was taken just a day or two before the resto started. It was still nice enough to win local shows, but it just goes to show you what you can hide in pics.
