carter carb and intake matching

I cant remember which carb goes with which intake ect
Will a current production carter 4 barrel fit this intake?

Almost what I have..(#8007 Weiand)...

That intake is about a inch higher than a stock T-Q manifold

Use a Carter Thermo-Quad with that manifold..

those are meant for either carb square bore or spread bore , you just need to be very careful about making sure the gasket seals the carb to the intake properly

you can use whatever you want carb wise on that, just need an adapter plate.
i used this to mount a holley.

Yep, you can use that Holley adapter plate and flip it upside down and use a die grinder to get a nice match with the intake and square bore carb. Gaskets should not be a problem....
The Thermo-Quad has excellent throttle response with a dual plane manifold..

the one i posted was the SUM-226040 summit dual plane. Is this a good manifold? I can buy this good used one for 90 bucks, dont really need it just collecting parts for a 340 build and future A body project.
