VP is on Cinemax right now, so I'm watching it for the umpteenth time...

Did you ever notice that when Barry Newman (the cameraman, actually) is checking the side mirror, it doesn't look anything like an e-body mirror? It's kinda square with radiused corners.  :clueless:

I know...errr i have a pretty good idea what it came from

A good friend of mine was in Vegas and was coming back from there in his 90ish Grand Prick, and he is a big VP fan too.  He thought man this looks like the terrain that was in the movie! so he pulled off and took some pix of his car, like in the movie.  He said hey there is nobody around for miles! I think Im gonna tear it up  :burnout:, so he was treating the GP like a rented mule when a Nevada State Goofer came out (seeing all the dust) and asked "What the hell are you doing?"  :eek7: So he tried to explain the movie and the premise, not to the delight of the officer, who promptly gave him a stern warning ad said "You cant just tear up the country side like some derelict!" :nono:so he left........Barry wouldn't have taken that s**t.

Best movie line ever is, Barry and the naked girl.
Girl "You haven't changed a bit"
Barry  "Haven't I?"

I also have a copy of Cleavon Little's script form the movie with lots of little marks in and notes in it, Rich Sarafian is a pretty cool dude, you know that the (dope head in real life) surfer chick in VP stole the car from the set and they had to chase her down with helicopters?
......I'm sorry, I must have I drifted off.....Please continue.
