Dr Mopar has one that would work for you in a 71-73 Charger.  I was just out there this weekend and saw it.  The bucket seats were gone, but the buddy seat/arm rest was there.  It was tan and in good condition.
Give Doc a shout and see what he'll do for you on it.

I think he's got a few consoles (along with the hump brackets and shifting linkage) out there too if you interested in converting to a floor shift.   Oh, I just saw that you have an all original car, so you may not want to convert to a floor shifter...  but the I bet the arm rest is identical to what was in a challenger.

Good luck,

I see that the Challenger armrest is one piece of the bench seat.  I got these pics off this website  I think.  I thought they looked cool and saved em.  If you can track this guy down, I'm sure he'll be able to help you out with dimensions.

The pics were taken on 6/29/08, if that helps in your search.  Maybe someone will remember who's car this is.

Good luck,
Chris

I saw a one of those seats in a challenger yesterday.  The car was being parted out.  I thought it was kinda neat.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

If you can get it for cheap, grab it. They're pretty desirable pieces.
I have a couple of them. One of them is for my factory bench seat 71 Cuda.

Been away from the forum for some time.  Thanks for all the info guys. I picked up a 70 charger buddy seat  with arm rest on ebay so i have no need to build my own.

The bench seat is sweet but never like the idea of  sitting to close to the dash my girlfreind is close to a foot shorter and a bench seat would be horrible for me lol..

It is original car so i havent modified much everthing i take off i keep which so far has only been the hood latch to cable style..

Im planning on using the center arm rest with a spare center console that is less than driver quality but vacuum formd with a lil tlc cant fix..

Thanks for guiding me to what i needed
