340 Motor mounts
« on: January 12, 2010 - 09:36:24 AM »
I am putting together a '72 Challenger for a friend and I am trying to figure out the motor mounts.  The passenger side mount mates up to the block perfectly.  The drivers side though has about a 3/8" gap between the mount and the block for the back hole.  See pic below...

Is there a bracket that goes in this space or does something else go there?

Can anyone take a pic or two of their mounts??

Thanks!

Jeff

looks like a 318 upper mount bracket on a 360 block...I had the same problem and ended up searching out a 360 upper (at least i think it was ) to fit right

I (like many before me) just found a nut that filled the gap and bolted it up.

Check out the first picture in the thread below.
