PIc needed, 70 or 71 front fender headlite bucket
« on: January 13, 2010 - 09:33:45 PM »
Can anyone post a photo of fender headlight bucket area with headlite bezel removed?  There are two bezel attach screws located above the headlites.  I need to see how long the fender tabs are that these bezel screws attach to.  Thanks for your help.  Phil

Phil,

If you get no takers here, I'll go over and take a headlight bezel off and take pics for you. I also know you were asking about how the grill fits under the bumper, so I'll take pics of that too.

Here's all the screws the bezel/trim ring attaches to on my '70.  I think the last one is what you're looking for.

Greg - that last photo is what I needed.  THANKS:)
MEK - don't tear your car apart just for me.  If you can take a pic looking down the length of the bumper/grille that would help.

Phil,

I didn't realize how tough it would be to get a good shot. It appears the lower part of the grill is level, if that is what you need to know. The center seems to tuck in closer to the bumper than the ends do. I hope this helps.
