Anyone know off hand if these will fit?
« on: January 13, 2010 - 09:54:20 PM »
Hey guys,

wondering if these mopar cop wheels will bolt onto my challenger, I dont know about whole big large/small bolt pattern thing, anyone have measurements or know off hand if ford mavericks are large/small bolt.

I dont really want the set of turbine wheels I have so I may sell the car with those on it
and keep these for track wheels for the challenger. I love the way they look
the wheels on the mav Im selling:

Yep, they'll fit. They are 15 X 7. Fords are large bp...4-1/2.

Ford wheels have a different size hole for the hub also.

Ford Hub is smaller....They won't go on without modification to the wheel hub.

so the turbine wheels wont fit on the maverick or the cop wheels wont fit on the challenger without mods

thanks

Turbines being aftermarket should fit both if everything else is correct. Ford factory wheels on Dodge will be the issue.

I'm a little confused. Are the wheels on the Maverick Mopar or Ford?

From the auction: "...and an extra set of wheels, ford turbine style
I may switch the cop wheels for a set of Ford turbine wheels, both sets have about two good tires and two bad"

They look like Mopar Cop wheels, but as stated earlier, if they are Ford, the center hole would need to be opened up to work on a Mope.

Unless FOrds have some rims similar to Mopar Cop rims, they look like the type that came on the 80's St Regis cop cars or something like that....  :dunno:  Challenged72, why don't you email the guy.  :dunno:

:iagree: they do look a lot like mopars which would go on the ford w/o any problems

Ford did have a factory turbine wheel... Need to inquire with the seller, hopefully he knows what he's got.

lol Im the seller. I want to take the black wheels off of the maverick for track wheels for my challenger, and put turbine wheels on the Maverick before its sold. I wouldnt use the turbines on the chally, so I want them gone and keep the ones I will use.

I was under the impression that the black wheels on the maverick were Mopar cop  wheels, is there any way I can be sure?

there are 36 people watching it and its only up to $300 though, sooo looks like I may be keeping it anyways, unless I trade for a dodge dart a guy has that may trade me, also someone offered me a '55 ford car hauler in good shape, tempting as well

Look for a Mopar part #?  :dunno:  Not sure where it'll be.  Might be on the part of the rim covered by the tire?  :dunno:
