I'd settle for a Superperformance replica. Wouldn't be as skeered to drive it.  :grinyes:

:iagree:  Replica for me as well!  Driving a 1 of 6 car makes me nervous!  I got into a Factory Five Racing version and man, you have to be a semi contortionist to get in one!

Hmmmmm....the top 5 list for me is ever changing....... I dunno, so many cars, so little time...  :pullinghair:

1- 427 Shelby Cobra, my perenial favorite...
2- TVR Sagaris.  Love the looks, gives me shivers just looking at it!   See pic below.
3- Pantera DeTomaso GTS/Ferrari 328 GTO/Lamborghini Countach (tied, love Italian design!  :dunno: )
4- Mad Max Interceptor  :smokin:
5- Covette Summer custom.  :icon16: I'm a little stuck in the disco era... see pic below...

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Pic #2 and 3 of my ARII 1/24 scale model car

:ylsuper:

The original mini, and most of the triumph cars were all good, but there was one triumph called the "acclaim" which was

just a Honda with triumph badges   :puke:

Triumph herald, vitesse, spitfire, dolomite sprint, 2000,2.5pi,stag, tr-cars all the way up to tr6----all good   TR7-crap.    :grinyes:

The Triumph TR8 was a special build car, with a v8 motor not many made, for race and rally.Quick car with a crap body that rusted badly.

I owned a TR7 in 1975-76, owned it two years and it was a great car...to me, but I certainly understand it wasnt very well built. Plus, they were definitely a love/hate type style.. I would love to pick up a TR 8 convertible, and there are a few out there, but the v-8s were designed by Buick (GM) I think? Bought a Fiat X19 right after that and had a great time for a year or two with that car also. I was in college!

Ford GT (Gulf Blue/orange)
71 Cuda
71 Roadrunner
68 Charger
69 Camaro RS SS
plus

etc etc

1. Plymouth Arrow
2. Dodge Colt
3. Plymouth Cricket
4. Plymouth TC3
5. Plymouth Horizon

How's that for an affordable list..... :roflsmiley:. Some may be a little tough to find. I actually had some fun with a couple on the list a few years back.

Nice Capri!  I had a model of a street version when I was little!

70 AMX 390, 4 speed
71 Challenger Convertible (any engine)
68 Mustang Fastback
68 Charger (can anyone detect the bullitt theme)
56 Chevy belair

Seeing the picture of the Monza brought back old memories. I bought a 1979 Monza Spyder new off the lot for $5500.00. It was the worst car, and best car I ever owned. It was a piece of crap under warantee, then I put 95,000 trouble free miles on it out of warantee.
1973 Challenger Rallye
1971 Dart Swinger (sons)
