Funny thing nowadays ...those are probably not prescription glasses. My 11 year old daughter bought fake glasses that look just like those, because they were "cool" ..."all the kids have them"......
When I was kid you didn't want to be the four-eyed geek wearing glasses in school....man times have changed.
