Challenger Sidemarker Conversion
« on: January 20, 2010 - 08:56:21 AM »
Hey guys, I'm in the process of restoring a 73 Challenger, and I just do not like the way the sidemarkers stand out from the body. I'm considering replacing both the front and the rear with small, round sidemarkers. Didn't one of the B-bodied cars use something like this? Trying to find a source that I can get some lights from. Thanks!!!

 :iagree:  That looks really good.

Nother option is to just install the 70-71 style side markers.  BE&A has the plates you would need to weld into your existing fenders/quarters.

Someone either on this site or Moparts has a 73 Challenger that they installed the 68 style markers on.  Personally I'm not a fan of it.  What I do like about that car though is he cut the front fender extensions off of the fiberglass front fatia and installed chrome ones off of a 70.  He finished it off with the chrome hood moulding.

Burdar, any idea where there might be pics of that 73 you are talking about? I'd like to get a look at the front end.

Thanks for the feedback guys!!!
