I'll eventually get a set for my 73 Challenger, as I'm a big fan of the rear window louvers. But these guys want around $1,200 for a set. I've seen ABS plastic ones on eBay for $400. I think the aluminum ones would be the way to go though.

The louvers would cover your back window, but I'm not sure if the top could support the added awesomeness.  :smilielol:

The aluminum ones are the only way to go. I bought an ABS set on eBay, not really impressed at all. I bought my set used and the bottom part of the lowest louver is a little warped, I imagine if they sat in the sun too long they'd be a warped mess. I may build a set one of these days, I'm not super worried about them being original and the aluminum needed would be pretty easy to work with.

My cuda came with louvers but were gone when I bought the car. Still has the posts and mounting holes. Now that the car is painted  these will be the last big item to finish the car off.  Will be the cherry on top for me. Luv the look of e bodies with louvers.    :ylsuper:

I'm definitely a louver guy, but I think the aluminum ones are the only ones that look good on the old Challengers. I do have the ABS on my new one.

I am curious to know if these will mount to the identical holes from the factory on bentpshrods car?

Louvers are new to me.  I thought I remember reading they only came on vinyl top cars from the factory?  Any truth to that?

Mine are supposedly Mopar Performance pieces.   :dunno:  Don't know how to tell?

Thx,

I've heard different things about how they should fit/lay.  Some say they should actually not lay on the roof.  So I'm curious about the gap around the top and edges.
