I believe after all the work making it up we should market it on a wider basis , it may be too late for this year but for sure next year , we can split the profits between the people who did the work to create it & supporting the site IMO  :2cents:

That sounds like a great idea, Dan.

It's cool for a Dodge enthusiast or someone new to Dodge to be able to see there us a whole community of people devoted to these great cars.   :2cents:

I think that would be great but I think that decision should be made by the people who made the calendar happen.  Looks like you did a great job and I can't wait to get mine.

Well, due to legal issues, we can not post it to the Dodge website.
We will however publicize the calendar's creation and try to market it to our office.
Thanks for weighing in and being cool.
More to come.

:dunno: Curious Dan, how can privately owned cars owned by members of a web forum infringe upon Dodge Corportation? There is no attempt to use or make a moneatry profit from the calendars using a name brand. If their reasoning is the "Cuda-Challenger" aspect in the name of the calendar then also this forum would fall under the same logic and would be an infringement as well. :clueless: Just a curiouosity question.......................now if we were attempting to sell these from a corporation web site that could figure into some possible reasoning, but even so, selling the calendars at cost............??

I'm guessing the sellouts @ Chrysler Corp wanted to benefit from this too.  :walkaway:

It actually is nothing to do with the members, but the Logos and trademarks therein.
Since the C.C.com website does use the Mopar and Chrysler emblems, both the Challenger and Cuda names, those trademarks need to be authorized for use by Chrysler corp.
Now, if they are authorized for use for the website, that is one thing, but if we try to sell a calendar with those logos on it without authorization, that's another.
My boss, being the cool guy that he is does not want to get me, or anyone else on this site in trouble, or draw legal attention to the matter.

Now, another opportunity may presents itself- The chance to work with legal, and Mopar on these issues for a "revised" calendar that would have the same content & imagery, but with approved revisions.
I will keep you updated- There is still about a month left before time runs out.

I will attempt to clarify the situation with legal, WITHOUT drawing attention to what we are up to. I have the name of the lawyer we work with on all pf these issues, and my boss has my back, and I'm hopin gthat includes you all as well.

Please stay tuned.

Dan
