« on: January 23, 2010 - 04:42:09 PM »
He is wanting a project car and does not have a lot of money.  He does not care too much on condition as he knows I will have a lot  parts off my car he thinks he can get.  Which he would.     It is good that he wants one this bad.  He told me yesterday that he wanted to get one   :woohoo:  You can E-mail me @ ngclay@iwon.com or pm me.  Thanks Gordon
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

My son does not have a lot of money.  He is willing to get a car that needs a lot of work so he can start working on it and it does not matter if it takes him a few years to gather the parts to fix it.  He is so excited about getting a car.  I dont know who he gets that from.

My son has a tax refund check coming and that is all he will have right now.  He is wanting to try to get a project car not a done car and I think he could go about 1500.00 for one.  I know it is hard to find something at that price but that is all he has.  I would like him to get a Cuda to do.  That way he could have my parts I am taking off.

At least the price has come down!  :smilielol:

Sad part is make that driveable with a engine and trans I would drive it as is. I love these cars, enough to get a mopar tattoo. So I don't care what shape its in. Just means one mopar is in need of someone who wants to fix it.

My son did type in on this.  I thought he had been a member longer than me but I was a day before he was.  I know he found the site for me though.

Well,
I do have a roller that I picked up a couple years ago, intending to work on it after I finished my t-bird.  However, I had planned on selling it at some point as I want something that is not as big a project.

Trouble is, I can't get to it right now, due to snow.  I have some older pictures of it somewhere, but I don't think they are detailed enough to make an educated purchase decision.

The car is located in MN, with the expected issues...  Floors are ok, needs left frame rail done.  Engine compartment is actually REALLY good - the paint is intact and seems to have kept everything safe there.

Quarters and fenders are not in good shape, needs some patches along a-pillar and the roof is dented.  Interior is not complete, has kick panels and door panels and rear seat panels, all black.  No seats.  Has good, flat hood.  No motor.

Let me know if you'd like to see pictures or if it sounds like something your son wouldn't want.  I see you're in Alabama, so this may not be practical anyway.

This car is something that could keep a guy busy a long time...  if your son doesn't have a lot of money to pour into it right away, he could at least have something to do with the body work while he saved for parts.

Hey Rob.  I would like pics so I can tell more about it.  I sent you a pm also. You can send them to my e-mail   ngclay@iwon.com.  I might be interested even if my son may not. We will have to see.  Thanks Gordon
