Hood Latch Tray Differences

Just an FYI on latch trays. I saw some posts asking about this and I found out the hard way today.

YES, they are year-specific and model-specific in most cases.

I don't know for sure about 70-71 Cuda, but...

70 and 72-4 Challenger are different from each other.
72-74 Cuda are different than 72-74 Challenger.

I had a nice 70 tray with a 73 support painted and bolted to my car before I noticed a difference. D'oh!   :dupe:

Amazing how much you DON'T know after almost 30 years of doing this.

Mother Mopar sure didn't make it easy, but there does seem to be a bunch of '70 only things.   :pullinghair:
