1969 coronet with rearend damage
« on: January 25, 2010 - 11:27:20 AM »
My brother and I have an opportunity to buy a wrecked 69 coronet for $2500. The car was restored to driver/cruise night quality before someone rearended it. It has a 440 (not sure if it is numbers or not), 727 trans, nice interior, rest of car is nice. It will need rear frame rails, quarters, tail panel, bumper, trunk floor, decklid, rear valance. I am thinking about $4000 in parts and any labor( brother is part owner in a body shop). Just wondering if it would be worth fixing and selling or buying and parting out, would hate to cut it up if it's worth fixing. Thanks.

 :useless:

but if it`s worth more than $6500 all fixed(which sounds like it easily should) then go for it.

It sounds like it is worth the asking price weather you part it or fix it I really doubt if you'd get hurt. Hope you fix it though. Good luck.

The car is outside and shrink wrapped right now so I can't get pics. Still waiting on my brother to decide if he wants to go in on it, it was his find.
