70 E Body Sheet Metal and other Items
« on: January 25, 2010 - 12:33:11 PM »
Well, between my wife’s pay cut and my pay cut, I have got to get rid of this stuff to make ends meet.  But being in Michigan, we’re just happy to have a job.  Will take trades, I also need to get out of these monthly storage rental fees.  Farm implements, hunting stuff, firearms, tools and/or may be some mopar stuff if ever get back to them.  Send me a PM or email me at whitehousesk@voyager.net for pics and more info.  This stuff will also be list on Craig’s soon.  All should be local pickup; I’m in the Detroit metro area, Westland or Howell.

AAR Original Hood some light damage underneath:  $ 350
TA Original Hood hinge area blow out/damage underneath, top ok:  $ 175, Note: a couple of members had interest; they would get 1st dibs on it.
Barracuda 70 Flat Hood, some dings, one corner bent a little: $50
Barracuda 70 Deck lid typical rust under the lip: $ 35
Barracuda 70 Fenders (LH & RH) typical rust areas, not too bad: $ 150 ea.
Challenger 70 Flat Hood, good shape: $ 75
Challenger 70 Driver door with glass: $ 125
Challenger 70 Deck lid typical rust under the lip: $ 35
Challenger 70 Flat Hood with mid-rise pro stock hood, no dings: $ 125
392 Hemi complete came out of an Imperial (58?), been sitting in a garage last +30 years:  $ 500.
348 Chevy Engine, rebuilt +20 years ago been sitting ever since, never started: $ 400
1982 Honda 900 Custom, mint condition, low miles, but like the rest of the stuff been sitting for the last 15 years.

Oh ya, set of 340 Hi Po exhaust manifold (so I was told), one refinished.  No idea on cost, make offer.  Sorry not a small block man.

See ya,

Snowdoggie

Snowdog, I am glad to see you still have the aar hood.  If I send you some money, is it ok to keep it there a while?  Also interested in the 392. Has it been in dry storage and not locked up?  Is it complete?  ALAN

Yeah I thought about that.   a 1700 mile drive will mean a motel, around 200 in fuel and 850 in parts....I should make it 900

Stuart, This is the email that didn't make it to you. I tried resending it to you also.  I'll post some more pics in a little while.

Here is a pic of the block, it has been stored inside
for all its life after it was removed.  I had to take off the heads
to move it, just to heavy otherwise.  If you're still interested I
will get some photo of the heads.  I have the valve covers, valve
train and I think the intake manifold, if you need the numbers and pics of
the intake let me know.  I think I have the intake,
I just can't remember if its for the Hemi or another engine.
Engine numbers are below.  I read the numbers as best I could, hope
they make sense to you.  I have not turned it in a while, I can do
that also if you like and are still interested.  Yes, somebody else
can pick it up so long as I get the money.

392 Hemi
Engine Block Pad: 58CII569 or 58C11569
Heads:

Stuart,  Here are somemore pics and some answers to your questions.

Yes, there is surface rust, I don't think it's pitted.  The following Items come with it, oil pump, intake, valve covers, valves, push rods, rocker arms, heads, distriburator, intake pan, motor mounts.  See parts bin pic.

I don't know if the cranks rusted, I'd have to tear it down further and take pics for you.  I can do that if your still interrested.
