You can't use the stock ones in back. The only way super stock spring hangers come are offset. So the rear shackles are offset to line up with the front hangers that are offset. The least offset ones move the springs in about 3/4 of an inch. These are the ones I have on my car. The other style moves the springs inside the frame for a total of 3 inches in from the factory location. The reason for the offset shackles and hangers is that you want the springs to face perpendicular to the centerline of the car for the proper "lift" on acceleration.

I used the extended front and stock rear hangers for the superstocks on my '71; no offset.  Your picture looks like my front hangers.  I did replace the rear shackle bushings when I did the job

I stand corrected. I bought mine a few years back. At the time they only made the offset ones, I even got into an arguement with two different guys at mancini racing over this very topic and they said the only ones available were the offset ones. I wasn't aware they had started to make the straight ones. Sorry.

Started to make?  I bought mine in the late '80s.  Perhaps they stopped making them for a while and then restarted?

Don't know I guess I got F..D. Like I said I went back and forth with two different guys at mancini and I insisted they sold straight ones but they said otherwise and I ordered the offset ones. I googled it and obviously they sell the straight ones everywhwere. I bought mine about ten years ago. Sorry to highjack your thread I'm done.
