So just give me a shout if you want it. It kinda looks like the variable thats on my 70 barracuda. But this is just in parts but all there.  You just need the aluminum piece with the mounting holes?  I'd send you the whole thing.

First of all, I am sorry as I seemed to have hijacked this thread.

BIGS- I am pretty sure the a body motor are different. Luckily, Al has me covered.  The generousity of the members here sure can make little problems go away quickly.

I appreciate the offer Al, but I am not sure if they are the same or not.  Maybe Kim or Jules could tell us?

I just dug up the wiper motor for you. Of course it is free to you, but I wanna make sure that I dont ship you something you cant use either. It seems to look like mine for the most part, but I thought I would post the numbers on the motor housing to see if Kim or Jules sees anything in them that says it wont work.

No problem on the wait Al, We still have a couple feet of snow on the ground and I won't even see my car for a month yet.

That will not work.
You need a motor that has a build date of late 68-75.
That is a 67 motor and the internal gear shaft size is completely different.

Thanks for the heads up Jules.

Thanks for the offer Al, looks like I will have to keep an eye on Ebay.

Now I guess we all see why you should just send your wiper motor to Jules or Kim, and let someone who knows exactly what they're doing make your wiper motors look and perform like new. :2thumbs:

Forget ebay. It will cost you too much.
Go to your local junk yard and ask for a 74 or 75 aspen or volare 3 speed motor.
You shouldn't have to pay more than $20 for it. Even a 3 speed from a cordoba will work.

Good eye Kim.
Plug got damaged in shipping.
I sent a replacement.
For the record I am the most expensive wiper motor restorer out there that I know of.
However you get what you pay for and more.
Email me for details if you need my services.
Jules

that is exactly what i found , we got what we paid for & more the wait was closer to 7 months not the 10 weeks promised , nothing like disgruntled customers & hold ups getting car completed while waiting , My plug was distroyed in shipping also , both of my customers were very disappointed & bugged me constantly . next time I will try Kim

Chryco Psycho
May I please know your name.
You know who I am but I do not know who you are.
This way I can check my detailed emails and respond to your comments.
One thing is for sure. I have ALWAYS sent out replacement plugs when I am told about any
arriving damaged.
My post concerning " getting more for what you pay for" is in reference to the quality and attention
to original detail. I have already apologized for the delay so I need not go there again.
Would you mind telling everyone if contacting me or speaking with me was ever a problem?
I am always accessable and my reasons for the delays were genuine.

I have found that in this business, as with most businesses, that sometimes things get out of hand and they get away from you.  Schedules are delayed by suppliers and providers of services that you have little or no control over, personal health issues can get in the way and sometimes your "normal" or originally quoted time frame gets all out of whack.  I know also from experience that once you turn a package over to a carrier, you're never responsible for the number of times they hoop shot or drop kick your precious cargo enroute.

While I am not here to defend Jules, because I don't believe that defense is necessary here, I am here to say that we are all human beings...that being said, we're not perfect, cannot always meet the demands of our customers and sometimes have to work a little bit harder on the next effort to make up for our past perceived failures or transgressions.

Kim,
well said and thank you for your comments.
Many variables come into play in life but ultimately the customer must get service.
I have nothing to hide and will and have gladly apologized for my errors.
I take issue with the fact that I have to respond to an incognito client however.
I know how I proceed with my delays and once I know who I am conversing with I will show my hand.

the way I read this is while I was just another customer or in my case a customer with clients I am helping complete their projects you are not concerned about me despite numerous emails & phone calls from both myself &  my customers you were not overly concerned about customer service !! Now that you find out who I am you are now concerned about it because I can affect your business . I understand delays & would have appreciated  good communication if there is a problem but do not feel I was treated very well , I am not exaggerating or making anything up just passing on my experience . I have no Issue letting you know who I am , I told you in numerous Emails I was unhappy with your service & would be happy to let people know how things went .
