shaker conversion

does anyone know who makes the shaker hood conversion kit? Harms doesnt do it any more and i am having trouble finding the frame for the conversion.

When you buy the shaker conversion, they come with it.

i plan on buying pieces at a time, frame and trim ring to start....then more as money frees up and i will probably finish buying parts next Jan!

i do see they have a small kit that has just the items i want to start with including the pliers. awesome!

Might be cheaper to buy the whole kit all at once. Call Ben and check w/him.

I was also recomended to use sixpackperformance for my project, think it was from Chryco :clueless:

I've seen the shaker repro hoods at Carlisle when it first came out and yes they are very nice. But I've also heard that doing the Shaker conversion is still the best way since the original guage metal is so much better. The original hoods supposed to weigh more. They are alot of work to convert over is the downside.

Six Pack is good to deal with , but sure on the quality of Shaker parts from them though , there Six Pack set ups are good though
Amd has awesome metal parts , Gene Gregory has a Shaker conversion kit as well as Ben Snobar .
I have dealt with all the above companies & people with no issue & all have good product
