Pin type caliper
« on: February 04, 2010 - 07:26:02 PM »
Found some pin type brackets for the super duty 11 3/4 rotors that are used on the R body's . But those are the Slider type caliper..which I have now. Seems the pin type style has more brake pads available brand new from places like Summit Racing so I thought I switch over to the pin type calipers this spring.

I understand some mid 70's cars like the Charger came with pin types of calipers. Seems there are two or more types, like which type of brake hose is used.

My stuff is old--replaced in back in the 90's but could be replaced once again. I like to use the "best" factory types, hoses, claipers--are there just one type of pin brake pads? I know the silder caliper had two sizes.
