Thanks Wade. I'm hoping to not have to replace the bumper.

My buddy couldn't wait and got started putting the grill and some of the trim back on.

Did you notice the hood is more orange? It's not an optical allusion. I'm having him take it back over there. I called the body guy and when I told him the color doesn't match he said he doesn't know how that happened since he used the same paint as the rest of the car and he doesn't know what I expect cause he isn't giving me a new car. Is it too much to expect for $4k to get a car that is painted all the same color and the body is straight? The raving reviews about this guy have left me feeling like I'm the poo getting poked  :poopoke:  he said he won't be able to touch it for another week or so cause he is on another customers car now

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

The last picture is the easiest to see the color difference between the hood and fenders

Here is the latest on the car. The transmission is in. The clutch was not alligned, but now the car wont start....go figure...and my buddy has lost interest in getting it where it needs to be to be on the road again. It still needs to go back to the body shop to get the hood repainted and the vinyl top put on and the front and rear windshield put in....and running....thats a big one. If it isnt done by the time I get back in country I will be getting it with a U-haul and trailer to bring it home and finish it up....at which point I will be reaching out the the CO members in here for a couple extra hands.

Can't tell ya how good she looks!   :2thumbs:  She's come a long ways!!!  Hopefully the bums encountered will be quick fixes and you'll be back on track.
