...for years people tried to purchase the red one...it sat in his front yard for years and years...then he moved it to sit over a giant mud puddle for another year or so(the snow covered the mud hole)...my son tried to purchase the car and was given a run around for weeks...now, the guy calls me wanting to sell the cars as a pair, but won't price them, still fishing I guess...a few more years and the red one will be too rotten to worry about anyway...anyone seriously interested, PM me and I will pass on the contact info...but be prepared for a loooooong process

I picked up a nice 73 Barracuda at the first of the year.  It's a 318, console auto, 8 3/4 rear car with AC, PS & PB.  Really a nice driver.  I've put larger rallyes & tires (it had 14 x 5.5") now 15" and am about to begin work on a transmission leak which is the only real problem with it right now.  I got mine off Craigslist, when you start your search keep an eye out there.  Later, jim

Not Barracuda but in the December Muscle Car review, I think, there were 2 articles on a plain base '70 Challenger and a plain '72 Charger.  Bother were Hemi orange with black Vinyl top, both 318 cars, both with just hubcaps.  The '72 Charger was supposedly the one used in the Doris Day Show...

Friend of mine owns a 1970 Plum Crazy Barracuda 383 4 sp with factory A/C.  Been sitting in his yard neglected for about 10 years now...I give him hell everytime I see him.
