Rob,

That guy on E-Bay "the Flr" is just crazy. I don't know how he sells anything. Just look at his E-Bay store and get a good laugh.    :22yikes:
I guess he knows that he has a rare switch. I guess if you really need an original, how much does someone pay?

If you are looking for a low cost alternative, it is my understanding that the 67-68 B-Body convertible top switch (part no 2820423) will work and it looks identical (at least to my eyes) to the e-body switch.

Part number 2820423 is also the tailgate power window dash switch for 1967 mopar station wagons - so if you can find one of these cars in a salvage yard it might be worth a look.

PG classics is selling a re-production of the e-body switch for $195 (page 162 of the new catalog).

My car had the switch in it when I got it but was missing the black handle. I pulled the black handle off of a headlight switch and used it. Works like a charm but doesn't have a spot on it. I guess I could hit it with a drill bit and put a dab of blue paint (or maybe red) on it if I was really worrried about it.

Good tip Jay, I have about 6 of those headllight switches. some have those dots on them already.  I don't need the top switch but that tip helps others make one.
