Summer road trip
« on: February 15, 2010 - 03:56:48 AM »
hey all, thought i'd share some pics from a recent roadtrip.
traveled through the last major parts of new zealand that i hadn't been to before: the far east cape, and taranaki (new plymouth).
stunning countryside and some awesome roads, and, as this is new zealand, a lot of really sh!t roads too. lots of rough loose gravel roads in some of the more remote areas. my headers got smashed in nicely...

car ran flawlessly as usual, and also as usual, got lots of positive comments. mostly: 'mean-as car bro!' chur!

cheers,
aaron

Those pics with the construction equipment really work with your car.  Looks great with the landscape as well.  Thanks for sharing.  "Mean-ass car bro!"

You are the "MAD MAX" of New Zealand.
When I saw that picture of the mountains in the background and your car in the foreground it reminded me of the Mad Max movies.
Thanks for sharing!

I like the fact that there is minimal chrome, straight as an arrow but not super glossy, I love it.  :cooldancing:

straight as an arrow...     ha ha ha ha    which car are you looking at?
they are flattering photos yes, but my car has more than its share of curves in the wrong places...

cheers for the positive feedback guys.

I just wish I had a car that I could go crashing through a dirt road with....  :swaying: and touch up with a spray bomb.
