Modelers-I'm looking for 1/24 or 1/25 dogdish hubcaps?
« on: February 16, 2010 - 06:09:38 PM »
I am starting a build of my T/A as it will look when the restoration is completed.  I've built the 1:24 Monogram T/A model several times in different versions over the years. But my car came with the steel wheels and dogdish hubcaps.  I've looked through my spare parts box, all my kits on the shelf, etc and can't find any dogdish hubcaps.
Can anyone suggest an aftermarket car model place that has some dogdish hubcaps for sale, or alternately any car models you've seen that have dogdish that I could track down to pirate the hubcaps from it for my projectl?
I customized this model one time as a '71 and used some aftermarket resin wheels and hubcaps that I bought somewhere, I think they came from a place called "the good stuff" but I can't find anything about that company searching online, maybe they are out of business?

The '70 Roadrunner kit from Revell has good dogdishes from what I've heard.

Thanks!  I'll look into that one.
Searching around I've found a other kits that might have good dogdishes.  There is a Lindberg Dodge 330, not sure if those mid 60's style dogdish look quite right.
And there is a Dukes of Hazzard Sheriff Roscoe Dodge police car, the pictures I see online aren't clear as to if the dog dish hubcaps are seperate parts though?
