Just wondering if anyone has used these in a 22in core support and how well they fit?

I have a BC rad. in the small opening. It fits perfect. Not sure if it's the same one though. It did a BIG difference in cooling. Also JEGS 12x2 fans.

I fitted a "bolt in" BC radiator to my Challenger's 26" opening and had to modify the mounting flanges dramatically as it would not fit between the frame rails. Even then it would not sit low enough to cool correctly in the airflow from the grille so I had to cut it some more to get it lower.

But it just took some work with the angle grinder and I had to drill new holes to bolt it to the stock radiator frame.

Is that the cheap one or expensive one? the one im looking at is 299, for a std. transmission as i am running an external tranny cooler. It is also a cross flow. I cant find a downflow that is under 700 or so.

It's an expensive one. Like 6 hundy. Worth it.  Crossflows are supposed to cool better. But I had fitment issues with the RMS K. (Lower hose). It was one of the few I could find that did not have the lower outlet right on the corner. I had a Jegs direct fit for like 299,had to return it.But only because of the outlet/K issue.Otherwise it fit good. Hope this helps.

I just picked up a Day Motorsports triple pass, cross flow unit for $200. Haven't fit it up yet, but it will require fabbing new upper and lower mounts. I think it was 29"x 19" x 3".

I am using a Smith Racing Radiator direct fit, 26", fab aluminum. You actually loose surface area on a cross-flow due to each end cap that covers a portion of the radiator opening. The Smith radiator was about $600 bucks. It made a big difference.

i may loose a little surface are but considering that the original cores are 9/16th of an inch and the alum rad cores are 1 inch it will still make a pretty big difference.
