    Guess I will start. This weekend started removing interior panels, and back seat. Exterior removed rear window trim, trunk trim, sidemarker lights, roof rail trim. All in preparation for paint beginning in November. Rear bumper this week then move to the front to begin pulling motor. Any suggestions on removing the rear bumper? Looks like it is gonna be a real pain in the ___ and this is just the beginning  :) No photos yet need to get a digital camera.

    Well.... I made it up to the body shop on Saturday, and WHAT a day it was!!!! 8) 8) 8) :o :o :o

    Took up the new 8 3/4 I got from Rev's brother, along with one of my Summit racing seats.... (Thanks so much for reccommending those 74chall!!!!) 8) 8) 8)

    They had 2 paint cards waiting for me, and man-o-man... she's gonna look SWEET!!!! ;D ;D ;D Many of you will remember the color I posted originally... this "official" color is different... but not by much!!! ;D ;D ;D

    I'll have some teaser pics up later on today... right now, I have to get ready to head back up to the body shop... I need to take him some rims, and my front drums, so he can actually get everything together for a rolling chassis!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

    This week has been pretty much a bust.  We did order a few new parts...new voltage regulator and some spark plug wire looms.  Been down with a sinus infection and Redline is back up in NY.  Sometimes I wish I could just put life on hold, so I could actually get something done!  Anyway, any progress is progress....right?

    Very true Rev!!! Man, you've had your fun... first a twisted ankle, then your Mom passing away, and now a sinus infection... when's going to end for you?!?!?! :o :o

    Here's a shot of the new 8 3/4 rear I picked up from Rev's brother.... along with the leafs springs that came with it, and the new 6 leaf, Super Stocker's that he also gave me!!! :o 8) 8) 8)

    I got some work done today on the rear aluminum piece that bolts to the back of my decklid.... Rev, Redline and twofornow, remember that one we saw at the Hayes show for $1100.... I can make mine look that good with a couple cans of spray paint, and some steel wool!!!! :o :o :o ;D ;D ;D Here's a couple shots from the work today on it!!

    I got my front bumper brackets made up and the fiberglass bumper mounted up on the `69.The 360 is pretty much all together so I started tearing into the 727 to find out why it`s slipping betwen 2nd and 3rd.I`ll get out to the garage tomorrow night and snap some pics.

    And here's the work on the back plate!!!! Hope you guys enjoy!!! 8) ;D ;D ;D That's only about 30 mins of sanding with #00 steel wool... what a difference it makes!!! :o Once I've got all the paint and corrosion off, I've got some #000 steel wool that I'll go back over everything with to get it really polished up, then it's masking and painting time!!! 8) ;D :D

    Slow movin for me too, had parts I was waiting for and finally got some and well, here's what I got done since last post. I put the before pics just so you can see how scummy this was before the rebuild.

    Got alittle done this weekend after all

    Took a used up donor fender and used several sections to fix up 2 other fenders
    (came out OK)

    I don't know if you want to include my progress on the 70 Charger but.
    I decided to work on the dash frame. First I sand blasted the whole thing with the vin in place. A bit tricky but it came out ok. Next I primed the dash. Discovered that there was a line where the old paint wasn't removed at the vin and the areas sand blasted. Sanded the area of paint to the vin and primed. Discovered that there is a different finish between sanding and sand blasting when it gets primed. Now I had to sand the whole top down and prime again. Finally i got to paint it in the finish color of black.

    Tell me about it!!  Oh, and one of my two collies disappeared...this has not been a good September!

    LB, the tail panel lookes awesome.  Amazing what some time and a bit of elbow grease will do.  How many more days till the cuda comes home?

    P6P, looking good.  I love before and after pics of parts.  I can really appreciate it as that was my biggest part so far on this resto.  Nice job!

    I also received my beautifully refinshed instrument cluster and dash trim back. My old trim was sent back unused as it was beyond repair.

    This week we did a few things, other than getting our rims and tires.  We Por-15'ed the trunk, battery tray, master cyl, radiator, and brake drums.  Also painted inside the wheel wells to cover up some of the pink overspray that is everywhere.  Whoever painted it pink went crazy with the paint gun LOL.  You can see all of the overspray on the drums in the pics of my new wheels post.  Found a broken drum brake spring so went ahead and got a spring rebuild kit. Also spent way too long waxing and polishing for Saturday's show (about 12 hours).  My husband made me a really neat pink and black tool box for my trunk.  I have to post a pic of it.  It went over really well at the show. I know it doesn't sound like much but man am I tired.

    I finally finished repairing the convertible top frame.  Now painted and ready to install!! Turned out really sweet too!  ;D  ;D  ;D  Still need to order some parts including headers/exhaust and radiator!  Hope to accomplish this week!   Progress has been alittle slow due to work overload!   :P  Trying to get caught up!   :-\   Hopefully in the next couple weeks, serious progress can be made!   ;)   ;D  ;D
